About

Our Story

It all started as an experimental cause with an expectation to explore new business opportunities and growth in terms of market share in the fashion industry. Furthermore, being a model & talent with exposure to domestic & international shows that involves the fashion line and talent for Commercial Advertiment besides still being part of one of the largest Banks in Malaysia’s management team have provided the owner of business with great potential to invest in this relevant business.

In the beginning, somewhere in 2011, the owner started off with small business scale by promoting some fashion lines at various hotels during the fasting month of Ramadhan. This has been an eye-opener for the owner to indulge in small business lots in Kuching, Sarawak in 2011. Next, in 2013, the owner expanded his business at one of KL shopping malls in creating more creative fashion lines. The outcome was beyond expectations in 2013, which has even led the owner to try exploring business opportunities as a wholesaler for premium products at Kenanga Wholesale Centre (KWC).

Post this event, KWC has opened its mall to outsiders which has converted the space as a mass market mall. Eventually, the owner has to revise its marketing strategy from wholesale to retail business instead. Business has been transformed from good to great where several outlets were opened at AEON Bandaraya Melaka, Melaka in 2015, while The Curve, Kota Damansara somewhere in 2016 and lastly at Melawati Mall, Ampang in 2017.

As business trends evolved from brick & mortar to more online business platforms, this has affected the business demands tremendously. Slowly, the online businesses became major competitors towards offline businesses.

Then, in 2020, Covid-19 has affected the World’s economy, paralysing businesses all across the nation regardless of any business types except for those that are pharmaceutical based and food industry with e-hailing services such as Grab & Foodpanda. Most of the stores were closed down as businessmen started to feel the heat to sustain their businesses by cashing out their savings, including the owner. Due to unforeseen circumstances , the outlet at The Curve, Kota Damansara was among the first to be closed right after the closure at Kuching’s outlet, which was followed by the branch in Kenanga Wholesale Centre. Subsequently, Melaka branch was closed and last but not least, followed by Melawati Branch.

Our Mission

Despite that the current focus of business is through an online platform, nevertheless a physical outlet is a necessity for promoting premier products. In addition, based on regular customers’ feedback that preferred to look, touch & put on the products and rather seek for honest feedback via physical interactions, they have also advised to open up an outlet in the Centre of Kuala Lumpur.

Therefore, the owner has performed some strategic planning & due diligence to explore other opportunities at a strategic location to promote Arca Creation’s products in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, which MyTown suits the criteria and would be able to cater for physical sales. Customers’ feedback are very important as word of mouth spreads rapidly and helped to sustain the business opportunities.

Relatively, the owner has also considered to move towards digital platform in line with the current demands and methods of shopping by various age groups on top of physical outlet’s consideration. Research has been conducted at MyTown, which has consumed quite some time before this proposal was being finalised. Therefore, we hope that the management of MyTown would be able to provide the chance to expand Arca Creation’s business at their premises aligned with other proactive business competitors to allow healthy & natural growth and equal opportunities to increase economic values & job creation. Thank you in advance for the support & looking forward to receiving your earliest feedback in due course.

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while.
